Director of Operations
Mr. Chase received his undergraduate education in Social Ecology and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from U.C. Irvine. He has taught elementary grades in Irvine, Costa Mesa and La Mirada. Mr. Chase worked for Orange County Social Services, Children and Family Services for nearly 15 years. He received his Masters in Social Work in 2002 from the University of Southern California. He is also a licensed E.M.T. (Emergency Medical Technician) and is a certified instructor for Lifeguard Training, First Aid/CPR and Water Safety (Swim Instructor). Mr. Chase has been on staff with Forest Home Ministries where he continues to serve during the summer months and on weekends during the school year. He has also served with several local area churches including St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach and Irvine Presbyterian Church. Mr. Chase has received training as a trainer by Active Parenting and the National Center for Fathering. He enjoys photography, music, surfing, swimming and reading.
Ms. Nosco, also referred to as Mrs. Knosco and Mrs. Kucukarslan, received her undergraduate education in General Studies and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential with a minor in History and a Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development Certificate from The University of Southern California. She also received a Master’s degree in Education focusing on Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading instruction and a Special Education Credential from USC. She taught 5th and/or 6th grade for fourteen years before becoming the principal at Grace. Ms. Nosco got married right here on the Grace field and she and her husband have adopted three children together. She has gone on numerous mission trips to China, Mexico, Alaska, and Guatemala. Ms. Nosco enjoys going to the beach, swimming, reading, and playing soccer.
Director of Admissions
Leslie has worked at Grace Lutheran School since 1999. While here at Grace her first years were spent working as a Jr. K and Kindergarten aide, summer camp counselor and the office manager. In 2007 she was hired as the schools first Director of Admissions. Leslie has been married for 25 years to her husband Kurt; they have one son, Corey. Corey attended Grace Lutheran School and is a graduate of UCLA. Besides family, her passions are her dog Max and going to the beach. Fun Fact: Mrs. Johnsen the Jr. K teacher is her sister.
Director of School Administration
Mrs. Lind received her B.S. in Computer Science at San Francisco State University. She has worked at Grace Lutheran School since 2005 starting out as a volunteer in the library. She is happily married and has two children who are graduates of Grace Lutheran School. When she is not working she enjoys biking with her husband, walking her dogs, quilting, reading and baking.
Christy is a happily married wife and mother of two beautiful girls, one who graduated from Grace and moved on to Marina High School. Her younger daughter is still here at Grace in 4th Grade. Up until this year, Grace is all Christy’s family has known and wouldn’t have it any other way. When Christy is not working at Grace, she is a stay at home mom. Christy enjoys time with friends, going to the river and watching her girls play sports.
