Mrs. Johnsen has been teaching here at Grace Lutheran School since 2006. She began her career at Grace Preschool in 1980. Mrs. Johnsen lives in Huntington Beach with her husband Eric and her bulldog, Lola. She has a son and a daughter both currently away at college. In her free time she enjoys time with her family, crafting or going to the beach.
Michelle Hall has been teaching at Grace Lutheran School since 2004. Michelle is a native of Southern California and currently resides in Westminster. She attends the First Christian Reformed Church of Artesia where she is involved in music and children’s ministry. Michelle received her Bachelor’s Degree and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach. She is married and has two children who have attended Grace since Kindergarten. Her son Andrew is a Grace graduate and is currently attending high school at Brethren Christian in Huntington Beach. Her daughter, Tori, is in middle school here at Grace. In addition to teaching Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing the piano and shopping.
Mrs. Gundersen has been teaching second grade at Grace since 2004. Kelly graduated from USC with a bachelor of science in Occupational Therapy, and worked in a physical rehabilatation hospital for 10 years before returning to CSULB to get her multiple subject teaching credential. Kelly loves children and before coming to Grace Lutheran School, she was a substitute teacher in the Garden Grove and Oceanview school districts. She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader when her own children were in elementary school, and she also taught Sunday School for numerous years where she attends church. She has a grown son, daughter, and son-in-law. In her spare time, Kelly likes to spend time with her family and friends, read, sew, exercise, and she is very involved in her church.
